About Us
Established in 2011, Toowoomba Salt Cave has been proudly managed by Sue and Toby Thrupp since November 2015.
We offer a welcoming and peaceful environment where visitors can enjoy a range of relaxation and wellness experiences.
Sue holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) and a Diploma of Remedial Massage, with many years of experience in healthcare. Toby holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage.
Our aim is to provide friendly service and a comfortable space where you can take time out, relax and enjoy a different kind of wellness experience.
Bookings are required and can be made by email, by click our 'Bookings' tab or by calling 4659 9269.
Our gift store may be closed throughout the day if we are doing massage therapy. Please give us a call before visiting the store to ensure we will be open.

At Toowoomba Salt Cave we aim to provide you with a holistic wellness program that is natural and safe for all ages.The ambience of our cave is very calming and peaceful which enhances the therapeutic benefits of Salt Therapy. In addition to Salt Therapy, we also provide various complementary health services including: Relaxation Massage, Reiki and Bowen Therapy as well as Hypno-Meditation and Tai Chi Qigong classes.
Salt Therapy
Salt therapy is a drug free treatment that reproduces the natural micro climate of a salt cave by dispersing a dry salt aerosol in high concentrations throughout a specialty built cave. The dry salt aerosol in the room plays an important role in the relief of health problems and is a highly effective therapy for treating people with respiratory problems and skin conditions without any known side effects. Salt Therapy
Our salt room features Himalayan salt surroundings and a specialised halogenerator that disperses dry salt aerosol throughout the room.
Enjoy 45 minutes in our peaceful salt cave, with its warm ambience, gentle lighting and calming surroundings.
It's an opportunity to take a break from everyday routines and enjoy some quiet personal time.

Enjoy a professional remedial massage in our comfortable and relaxing setting.
Our one-hour remedial massage sessions provide a personalised massage experience tailored to your individual needs.
Remedial massage appointments may be eligible for private health fund rebates, depending on your level of cover and fund requirements. Please check with your health fund before booking.
