Salt Caves Toowoomba, situated at the Red Edge Shopping Centre 192 James Street, was established in 2011, and has been managed by Sue and Toby Thrupp since November 2015. Sue has a Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) and has many years experience within the health care industry, including aged and disability care. Sue is also a qualified massage therapist, and provides relaxation massages within the Salt Caves. Toby is your friendly receptionist, and he will ensure that your salt cave experience is enjoyable and therapeutic.
Salt Therapy is a natural treatment suitable for all ages. During a salt therapy session, dry salt aerosol is dispersed in high concentration throughout the room. Inhalation of the dry salt aerosol assists with the management of respiratory conditions such as: asthma, sinusitis, bronchitis, emphysema, colds & flu, respiratory allergies, cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, acute and chronic coughs, ear infection, tonsillitis, rhinitis, and hay fever.
